Acoustic Folk Art 3, Track 11, 01:18
If

If tomorrow comes and is today
Today will then be yesterday
And yesterday a distant dream
Of promises and gallant schemes

If tomorrow never makes it here
For you or me or someone dear
Then only will there be today
To laugh and love, to hope and pray

If tomorrow never makes it here
There is nothing left to fear
The troubles of today will be
Enough for all eternity
Song Notes

This little song is inspired by a passage from the book of Matthew.  It's short in duration.  A song just needs to be as long as it needs to be.  “...do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? ... do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself..."   Matthew 6:25,33-34  (NIV)
